Dancraft was formed in 1982 when two ex-servicemen, Colin Davison and John Needham formed a partnership to manufacture presentation items for the forces. They developed the business to cater for niche presentation items and saw there was a demand for Pace sticks.
Martin Dukes joined Dancraft in 1985 and spent many years concentrating on the development and marketing of quality Pace Sticks. Martin then took over the business in 1999 with a sole objective to produce a high quality Pace Stick to meet the requirements of the military. He worked closely with the UK MoD and various drill instructors in developing a Pace Stick that delivers on quality.
For over 30 years Dancraft has supplied every Regiment in the UK with quality Pace Sticks. Every stick is carefully handmade in our workshop by a fully experienced team.
As well as offering our unique personal service for our individual customers, we also specialise in contract/bulk orders whether here in the UK or overseas.
We have supplied and continue to supply our Pace sticks to the armed forces around the world, these include Australia, New Zealand, Oman, Hong Kong, Canada to name just a few.
